No Bake Jello Dessert Parfaits

Layered lime gelatin and sweet whipped cream create a bright green dessert that’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, themed birthdays, or sports parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 box lime Jell-O 6 oz
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream or Cool Whip
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Optional toppings: lime zest sprinkles, crushed = candy

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, dissolve the lime gelatin in boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
  • Stir in cold water and allow mixture to cool to room temperature.
  • Pour a thin layer of gelatin into each parfait glass. Refrigerate 20–30 minutes until slightly set.
  • Beat heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  • Spoon or pipe whipped cream over the gelatin layer.
  • Repeat layering gelatin and whipped cream until glasses are filled, ending with whipped cream on top.
  • Add toppings and chill until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Let gelatin cool before layering to prevent melting.
  • Chill fully before serving for best structure.
  • Best enjoyed within 3 days.
  • If you don't want to make homemade whipped cream, you can use Cool Whip or the cream out of the spray can.
