Homemade Red White and Blue Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • red white, blue candy melts
  • Patriotic M&Ms
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Pop the popcorn using an air popper or microwave in a paper bag.
  • Melt candy melts in separate bowls, stir until smooth. Transfer to piping or zip-top bags.
  • Spread popcorn on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Drizzle candy melts over popcorn. Quickly add M&Ms and sprinkles.
  • Let set at room temp or refrigerate briefly. Break into clusters and serve.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Use white chocolate tinted with gel color as a substitute.
  • Add nuts or pretzels for a salty crunch.
